Feeding The Family

Juicy Beefburgers :

Serves – 4
Prep Time – 15 mins
Cooking time – 25 mins
Approx cost - £3.00

Ingredients

500g extra lean minced beef
1 large onion, finely chopped
4 heaped tablespoons
fresh breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons parsley (fresh or dried)
1½ tablespoon tomato purée
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons plain flour
1 tablespoon olive oil



Method

  • Preheat the oven to 190ºC/375ºF/Gas 5.
  • Place the mince in a bowl with the onion, breadcrumbs, parsley, tomato puree and seasoning and mix well.
  • Using well floured hands, shape the mixture into 4 burgers.
  • Place on a baking sheet and drizzle over the olive oil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  • The burgers can also be cooked on a barbecue,   Cook on a medium heat for about 20 minutes, turning once. Add some salad and rolls
