Hello ladies, I am sure that I'm not the only one who needs help repaying their credit card but I cant even afford the minimum repayment! My husband's pay has been cut to the bear minimum thanks to the CSA taking half of it which leaves us with £300 a month to live on which is not easy as we have a 2 yr old, rent to pay and living expenses.
Please please can anyone advise me what I can do? The stress of all our debts is getting on top of me and we are fighting every other night which isnt nice to say the least.

Thanks for reading.

Gillian

Hi there Gillian,

Sorry to hear things are so difficult for you just now.

What part of the country are you in?

Hi Ethansmum.

Sorry you are struggling.

You could think of either a DMP, IVA or BR.

Why not give one of the Divas a ring for advice? You can find their details on the left hand side of the page.

15 months into an IVA.

Hi Ethansmum

It should be worth contacting the CSA and letting them know of your predicament, and they may reassess. A subsequent child should not be suffering financially because of child support to previous children, and your husband should certainly not have to pay half his income in child support.

What is it about money that always leads to arguments?
