I keep getting letters from this alleged 'independant advisory review Dept.'
First letter received dated 2nd March addressed to hubby name blatantly copied from Insolvency register as it have the null's in the address! Basically have we entered into an IVA when there could be a faster and cheaper solution to his debt problem?

2nd letter dated 19th March telling us the same as before but this time listing which court and on what date we entered into an IVA but without the null's in the address format!

3rd letter dated 20th March this time addressed to myself with only my full name in capitals, saying Important Information, listing which court and which date I entered into IVA and saying they have been tasked to ensure that I have received the correct solution blah blah blah,....tasked by whom I would like to know.

Do you suggest I ring them? Do you suggest I write to them? I've looked at their website and cannot email them which is a shame.

I am sick of them sending unsolicited mail detailing my personal financial situation to me, what if this is delivered wrongly to a neighbour? or one of my family inadvertently opens the piece of mail?

Livid I am!

I've had one of those this morning, also with my court details on there.

I shall be writing to them, telling them not to send me unsolicited mail again as I have no interest in it.

They're so annoying aren't they?

Good job hubby knows all about my finances and he's in an IVA as well!

I could imagine it causing problems in some households.

I'm worried they'll keep coming Melanie, I want them to stop unsolicited mail to my house they're giving me more hassle than my creditors did pre-IVA (well a slight exageration maybe lol).

I'm writing a really stern letter saying I'll seek legal counsel if they continue to write to me without my future permission. Not that I will really of course. My fears are my hubby and I know about the IVA and nobody else except my forum friends. They are really annoying me.

Send them to me - I am just in the mood to have a fight with one of these companies, and you will give me the ideal opportunity thereisanend. It is about time the OFT stepped in an ridded us of these parasites - who are just looking to make a quick buck on the back of someone else's misfortune.

I will do that tonight Melanie with the greatest of pleasure. I as you know are more than happy to be in my debt solution of MY chosen IVA. Thinking in bed this morning I'm registered for MPS too so not sure if they should be sending me things like this? Something for me to look into at some point.

I sent my letter of complaint mentioning MPS etc., a very stern letter, yesterday I got my reply and apology and an assurance I have been deleted from their database and they won't be writing to me again! We'll see I suppose but at least they replied. Did you have any joy Melanie?
